Biography

Dr. Paul Nguyen is a radiation oncologist specializing in genitourinary cancers who serves as Executive Vice Chair of Mass General Brigham Radiation Oncology. His clinical trials, guideline work, and research integrating tumor genomics into treatment decisions have helped shape the modern management of prostate cancer. For roughly a decade he led clinical research at Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s as Vice-Chair for Clinical Research and headed its genitourinary disease center, building a productive prostate cancer program, and he holds the Baldwin-Politi Family Distinguished Chair in Oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

He has held national leadership roles across NRG Oncology, NCI/CTEP prostate cancer task forces, and ASCO guideline panels, and has written examinations for the American Board of Radiology. Within his own institution, he has directed medical student education, served as associate residency program director, and led faculty mentorship, and he co-founded and co-directs sponsorship programs that support under-represented clinicians across Dana-Farber. Pairing clinical and scientific expertise with formal business training, Dr. Nguyen brings experience in research strategy, oncology innovation, program development, and faculty mentorship.
